10 most in-demand AI skills for consultants and trainers

According to the freelance work marketplace, AI will be the fastest-growing category in 2023. This is based on the fact that posts for generative AI jobs increased more than 1000% in Q2 2023 compared to the end of 2022, and related searches for AI saw an increase of more than 1500% during the same time period.

People have talked a lot about how the recent AI boom could lead to job losses, but 1,400 business leaders were surveyed, and the result was that 49% of them plan to hire more full-time, independent workers to meet the demand for AI skills. And 64% of those in the C-suite said they planned to hire more people in all kinds of jobs because of creative AI. According to the poll, 59% of those asked also said they are using generative AI at work. Midsize companies are the ones most likely to use generative AI.

Companies are recruiting freelancers to address skill shortages. These are the top 10 AI skills that can land you a consultant job.

1- Chat-GPT

ChatGPT was the most sought generative AI skill in early 2023, only months after its inception in November 2022. ChatGPT is used across industries. Companies want professionals who can help them with content generation, task automation and scripting, translation, on-demand learning, technical support and troubleshooting, editing and proofreading, idea generation, calendar scheduling and management, and more. Employers are increasingly interested in learning how to use ChatGPT in the workplace to accomplish business objectives.

2-Natural language processing (NLP)

NLP improves chatbots, AI assistants, automation, and other jobs by helping computers interpret human language. AI-generated talks might seem awkward, confusing, or robotic due to language evolution. NLP aspires to improve consumer experiences via AI chatbots and other generative AI-based services. Text preparation, tokenization, topic modeling, stop word removal, classification, keyword extraction, speech tagging, sentiment analysis, text creation, emotion analysis, language modeling, and more are among these talents. NLP is most useful for data scientists, machine learning engineers, software engineers, data analysts, and software developers.

3- TensorFlow

TensorFlow, an open-source machine learning framework from Google, is used to train neural networks and machine learning models. The expertise is in demand across sectors and job types because it helps organizations design and deploy AI models. Machine learning, deep learning, AI research scientists, NLP engineers, data scientists and analysts, AI product managers, AI consultants, AI systems architects, AI ethics and compliance analysts, and others are relevant jobs.

4- Image processing

AI analyzes and processes pictures, pulls data from visuals and text documents, and interprets or manipulates them. AI image processing lets companies analyze and extract data from invoices, purchase orders, packing lists, receipts, and more. It helps analyze MRI and CT images in healthcare. Acquisition, enhancement, restoration, processing, compression and decompression, morphological processing, image recognition, and data visualization are all part of image processing. Example jobs include image processing engineers or scientists, robotics engineers, AI research scientists, quality control analysts, and AR or VR developers.

5-PyTorch

PyTorch, an open-source machine learning toolkit developed by the Facebook AI Research (FAIR) team in 2017, allows organizations to construct and train deep learning models and neural networks for NLP and other applications. The deep learning and AI communities see PyTorch as a versatile, quick, and simple framework for creating deep neural networks. Dynamic computation graphics, Python, and automated differentiation for deep neural network training are praised. Machine learning engineers, NLP engineers, AI research scientists, data scientists or analysts, medical imaging experts, and AI ethics and compliance analysts are relevant.

6- AI content

More firms are using generative AI to produce blog entries, social media postings, images, articles, and movies. Generative AI doesn’t always produce natural or relevant material, resulting in clunky or awkward prose that needs human editing to make sense. Thus, specialists who are in demand are those who can urge gen AI engines to produce appropriate content and review AI-generated content to ensure it flows smoothly, makes sense, and resonates with humans. AI copywriter, content strategist, analyst, graphic designer, video producer and editor, chatbot content creator, and content compliance manager are relevant jobs.

7- MidJourney

Midjourney, a 2022 generative AI service, generates visuals from spoken language questions. It’s exclusively accessible on the company’s Discord channel, where a bot generates four photos per request. Its introduction caused criticism, particularly among artists and graphic designers who believed the technology might replace them. Artists have sued the AI for copyright infringement since it was educated on millions of artists’ works. The Midjourney research lab desires to collaborate with artists and simplify content creation. Regardless of your opinion on AI-generated art, companies want Midjourney talents to make original commercials and avoid trawling Google Images for inspiration.

8- AI Chatbots

Today, AI chatbots are prevalent in e-commerce, customer support, and retail. Companies are using AI to lessen the stress on human agents by rerouting clients to useful material, direct answers to frequent concerns, and assistance for smaller difficulties before connecting them. AI chatbots can improve customer experience, but they need human maintenance and oversight. Companies need chatbot testers, debuggers, deployers, integrators, and analysts. They also want API, deep learning, machine learning, NLP, dialogue management, and text preparation expertise.

9-Model Tuning

Model tuning determines the best settings and parameters for machine learning and deep learning models. Teams may increase machine learning model performance and efficiency by fine-tuning these variables. To get the most accurate results, model tuning uses trainable parameters, which are learned from data, and hyperparameters, which are defined by the user. This expertise is essential for generating high-quality consumer goods and services using generative AI. Machine learning engineer, data engineer, deep learning engineer, data scientist, AI research scientist, quantitative analyst, AI consultant, and data analyst are relevant.

10-Stable Diffusion

Complex and comprehensive user inputs enable Stable Diffusion, a deep learning model, to create high-quality artwork and photographs. It learns from user inputs and improves outputs. Users may also remove objects, trim and tweak photos, and change topic colors using Stable Diffusion. As with Midjourney, artists and designers are concerned about the technology’s copyright concerns, including reports that the program has extracted data from creative creations without crediting authors. Still, organizations want AI skills like Stable Diffusion to develop unique ads, product graphics, and social media content.

Conclusion:

Consulting, coaching and training are open fields with a high paycheck and fast delivery. Human Behavior is direct or indirect in correlation with these 10 needed skills.
